5.4 Best Practices for Sellers
How to sell USDT effectively and safely on CryptoBazaar while building a strong seller reputation.
§Managing Your Listings
Keep your listings accurate and up to date. If you have sold all available USDT, deactivate your listing rather than letting it remain active. Inactive listings that still receive trade requests create a poor experience for buyers.
Set competitive but sustainable prices. Research the current market rate and existing listings before setting your price. A price that is too high will not attract buyers, while a price that is too low may not be worth your time.
Specify payment methods you can verify quickly. If you do not check NEFT payments frequently, do not include NEFT as an accepted method.
§Payment Verification Process
Develop a consistent verification process for every trade. When a buyer marks payment as completed, immediately open your banking app and check for the credit.
Verify three things before releasing escrow: the correct amount has been received, the sender's name matches the buyer's name on CryptoBazaar, and the payment is fully settled (not pending).
Do not release escrow based on screenshots, SMS notifications, or any form of proof other than seeing the actual credit in your bank account. This single habit prevents the majority of P2P trading scams.
§Scaling Your Trading Volume
As you build experience and a positive reputation, you can gradually increase your trading volume. Start with smaller listings and increase the amounts as you become comfortable with the process.
Maintain adequate USDT liquidity to fulfill your active listings. Having insufficient balance when a buyer initiates a trade leads to cancellations and hurts your completion rate.
Consider your availability when setting listing amounts. If you cannot respond to trades within a reasonable time, reduce your listing amounts or deactivate listings during periods when you are unavailable.
