§Escrow as a Fraud Prevention Tool
The escrow system is CryptoBazaar's primary fraud prevention mechanism. By holding crypto in escrow during a trade, neither party can lose both the crypto and the payment simultaneously.
Escrow ensures that the seller's crypto is locked until payment is confirmed, and the buyer's payment is verified before crypto is released. This eliminates the possibility of either party absconding with both assets.
