§The Verification Process
CryptoBazaar's identity verification process is designed to be thorough but straightforward. The process involves three main steps: document submission, biometric verification, and review.
During document submission, you upload a clear photo or scan of a government-issued identity document. Accepted documents include Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, and voter ID. The document must be current and clearly legible.
Biometric verification involves taking a live selfie that is compared against the photo on your identity document. This step confirms that you are the person shown on the document and not someone using stolen or fabricated documents.
§Document Requirements
Your identity document must meet certain quality requirements. The document should be clearly photographed with all four corners visible. Text and photos must be legible without blurring or glare.
The name on your identity document must match the name you registered with on CryptoBazaar. This is important because your verified name is also matched against payment sender names during trades.
Ensure your document is valid and not expired. Expired documents are not accepted for verification purposes. If your document is approaching expiration, consider renewing it before starting the verification process.
§Verification Timeline
Most verification requests are processed within a few hours during business days. However, complex cases or high verification volumes may extend the timeline.
If your verification is rejected, you will receive a notification explaining the reason. Common rejection reasons include blurry document photos, expired documents, or mismatched information. You can resubmit with corrected documents.
Once verified, your KYC status is permanent unless you need to update your information due to a name change or document expiration.
