1.3 How to Create Your First Trade
Step-by-step instructions for setting up and completing your first peer-to-peer trade on CryptoBazaar.
§Before You Start
Before creating your first trade, make sure you have completed the following steps. Your CryptoBazaar account must be registered and verified through KYC. You need a linked bank account or UPI ID for INR payments. If you are selling, you need USDT or USDC in a compatible wallet.
Take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the platform interface. Review the current market rates, check available listings, and understand the payment methods supported by different sellers.
§Creating a Buy Order
To buy USDT or USDC, navigate to the marketplace and browse available sell listings. Each listing shows the seller's price per token, available quantity, accepted payment methods, and their completion rate.
Select a listing that matches your requirements and enter the amount you want to purchase (in INR or in USDT/USDC). Review the trade details including the exchange rate, platform fee, and the total amount you will pay.
Once you confirm the trade, the seller's crypto is locked in escrow. You will see the seller's payment details on screen. Complete the payment using the specified method within the time limit, then click the "I Have Paid" button to notify the seller.
Wait for the seller to verify your payment and release the crypto. Once released, the USDT or USDC will appear in your CryptoBazaar wallet.
§Creating a Sell Order
To sell USDT or USDC, go to the "Create Listing" section. Specify the amount of crypto you want to sell, set your price in INR per token, and select the payment methods you accept.
You can set a fixed price or use a margin-based price that automatically adjusts based on market rates. Choose the payment methods you are comfortable with, such as UPI, IMPS, or NEFT.
Once your listing is live, buyers can initiate trades against it. When a buyer starts a trade, your crypto is locked in escrow. After the buyer marks the payment as complete, check your bank account to verify the funds have arrived. Only release the escrow after you have confirmed the payment in your bank account, not based on screenshots or messages.
§Tips for Your First Trade
Start with a small amount to get comfortable with the process. A trade of 500 to 1000 INR is a good starting point.
Always verify payments in your actual bank account or UPI app before releasing escrow. Never rely on screenshots sent by the other party.
Stay within the platform for all communication. Do not move conversations to WhatsApp, Telegram, or any other messaging service.
Complete trades within the specified time limit. If you need more time, communicate with your trading partner through the platform's chat feature.
If anything seems suspicious or if the other party is pressuring you to act quickly, do not hesitate to raise a dispute. CryptoBazaar's support team is available to help.
